
When it comes to rest, graphic designers need to get up from their computer every half hour for a break especially at night. There's nothing worse than going through eye strain and migraines when you have projects to finish for clients. Get up, grab a snack, drink some coffee, go to the bathroom, do something that doesn't involve looking at a computer monitor for a few minutes and then come back to your work. I experienced headaches and eye strain from time to time and one thing I have to say about it, is that I could never get used to it.
The consequences of sleep deprivation for graphic designers
- Poor work
- Bad work
- Awful work
- Horrible work
- What in the world is this?!
Go ahead take your pick. Either way, your work is going to suffer when you don't have rest. If you are at a point where you keep bobbing your head up and down and you can't figure out why, turn off the computer before you bust your head on it and break it. That's all I have to say on that and right now I'm going to take my own advice and get some shut eye. Have a great night scratch starter's.
